Colour can be used to give a stamp impression special expressiveness. Black is probably the most used and can be used for all purposes. Red is generally regarded as a signal or warning colour and is used for stamp impressions that are intended to give clear indications. Green is considered the colour of hope –, indicating that the stamp has been made correctly and properly. Blue on the other hand is elegant and neutral.

The following five colours are available as standard colours for stamp pads: black, red, blue, green and violet. However, there are unimpregnated ink pads which can be filled with 15 other colours.

In the standard version, ink pads are impregnated with ink for paper. However, there are unimpregnated ink pads which we can fill with textile ink. The unimpregnated ink pads are available in three sizes.

Yes, you can. Instead of simply throwing away dry ink pads, in most cases they can be refilled. Coloris offers different types of stamp-pad ink. It is important that you refill with the same ink that is already in the pad.

In principle, fingerprints can be taken with normal ink pads. However, such ink cannot be removed very well afterwards, and depending on the stamp ink, it may even be possible to remove it only with a solvent. Therefore, it is recommended to use specially designed stamp pads.

Some ink pads are impregnated with two different colours and divided into two areas. When buying these stamp pads, you should make sure that they are packed individually. Manufacturers of self-inking stamps have now designed ink pads for which up to 15 different stamp inks are available. To be able to make a stamp impression, you need not only a stamp but also an ink pad. It would make sense to mark the ink pad with a corresponding note, which could be applied to the lid, for example.
Finger stamp pads can also be used. To achieve a visible imprint with stamps, the use of ink pads is necessary. If you use several ink pads, you can change the color for each new imprint.
Water-resistant stamp-pad ink is suitable, for example, for smooth surfaces, which include metals and plastics. They also have a lid that prevents the pad from drying out when not in use. The stamp neck has a metal mark as a guide for alignment.

Of course you can use an ink pad for stamping. It makes sense to have ink at hand so that you can impregnate an ink pad with new ink if necessary. An ink pad that needs to be replaced can be removed from the stamp in a few easy steps.
The stamping ink applied to the finger pads is water-soluble and can be easily removed from fingers and clothing with water. You should also order matching stamp pads in the right size and reserve stamping ink.
Of course, the stamping ink is not sufficient for several thousand stamp impressions, as is the case with conventional stamp pads. Two-colour replacement pads are also available for Trodat round stamps. Stamp pads are required to be able to place an ink stamp on paper. Only original replacement pads from Trodat guarantee that the stamp ink is applied cleanly and sparingly to the stamp plate. Original replacement pads do not dry out. For the larger ink pads the choice of colours is not so extensive, usually only black, blue, red and green are available. If you use a wooden stamp, you will benefit from the possibility of using individual stamp pads. However, the question quickly arises: Which ink pads are suitable for fingerprints? Using a wooden stamp is very simple: one print on the ink pad, one print on the paper. In the shop you will quickly and easily find exactly the right ink pad for your stamp. The stamp pad also includes the stamp ink. Of course not only fingerprints can be made with the small stamp pads.
The vernacular knows: order is half the life. This motto also applies, of course, when it comes to stamp pads. These are very often offered in sets of 12 or even 24 different colours. In the creative sector, hand stamps are often made of beech wood. In the shop you will find quickly and easily exactly the right ink pad for your stamp. In order to achieve an optimal printing result, the stamp has to be unrolled a little bit for very large stamp plates to get a perfect impression.

Especially your children will love to create their own pictures with the multi-coloured stamp pads and to decorate cards for any occasion. Many finger stamp pads have a maximum stamping area of 6.5 x 4.5 centimetres. The durability of Trodat ink pads is very high. Some ink pads are available in special colours. The ink pad will eventually be used up. Stamp pads should be in good condition and give off enough ink to ensure the quality of the print.
If the stamp-pad ink is document-proof, it is particularly difficult to remove ink residues from fingers. It is helpful to have a spare pad in your desk drawer. Storage in a separate box, which can be closed if necessary, is a good option.
